L.C. Jeffries spent hours of his youth creating stories at an old manual typewriter in the basement of his childhood home. After serving his country in the U.S. Army, L.C. continued to travel the world. While away from home, he found that he missed his wife, Annie, and his dog, Chewey, more than anything else. Becoming a proud Papa rekindled his childhood passion for writing. With his precious granddaughter Jillian, Sweet Baby J, as his motivation, L.C. began melding his love for travel and his beloved pet dog into a children's book.
