The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museums publishing activity falls into three main areas. First, in cooperation with major trade publishing houses, the Museum produces a variety of commercial titles such as the authoritative reference guide The Encyclopedia of Country Music, published by Oxford University Press. Second, in cooperation with Vanderbilt University Press, the Hall of Fame publishes in-depth historical and biographical studies, such as Heartaches by the Number: Country Music's 500 Greatest Songs and Singing in the Saddle: The History of the Singing Cowboy.
