Avis Wright is a resident of North Carolina and a retired school secretary. She was born in Virginia and reared in Connecticut. After retirement she decided to explore her family history and was inspired to share her story with her children, as well as others. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. Also, in her spare time she enjoys creating her own zentangle artwork.
