Overview
CHARLOTTE AND LOUISE, TO BE LOVED is a heart-wrenching true biographical story about two young girls growing up in Tampa, Florida during the Great Depression, their struggles to escape the hardships of their youth, wanting to be loved, and how it led them on a path to burlesque and back. Their families were poor and worked in the shipyard and cigar factories. Neither of the girl's fathers were present in their lives. The girls were double first cousins and only nine months apart in age, but were more like sisters. Their bond was unbreakable!
