Changes in Life

As if struggling with coming to terms of becoming a were-jaguar isn't enough, Sarah has suddenly become a hot commodity when she gets more than she bargains for from a number of suitors... Including Toby? While the one she wants, wants nothing to do with her as he hightails it to other parts of the country a few hours after she becomes one of the monsters he enjoys hunting for a living. Whether it's the head jaguar, the vampire Prince of the City or one of the were-leopards, Sarah must keep her wits about her as she becomes sucked in to the world of were-creatures and vampires and their politics. Then there is the issue of the 'promise'.

Sarah's story picks up four hours after the end of Changes in Degrees. All she wants is the man she has fallen in love with and a quiet life. However, after becoming a were-jaguar, a quiet life is out of the question. In between trying to settle into a new home and business location, and learning to be a 'safe' therian, Sarah gets sucked into the local therian politics. Especially when the vampires have a change of Prince of the City and that Prince's animal to call is the jaguar and brings a group of were-jaguars in the entourage from the US.

Sarah's story came to KC in a dream, then that dream wouldn't leave her alone for the next week so she wrote it down. Little did she realise that it would spawn a series. Changes in Life is the 3rd book in the Unnaturals of Brisbane series.

Back in 1967 KC Riley-Gyer was born on the morning of a black Monday on the Sunshine Coast north of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. KC is the first to admit that her life was nothing special. She has worked as mechanic, in a book shop and in an IT company. Her interest in computers led her to do volunteer teaching online within the graphics community. Her internet time also sparked her interest in puzzle based games, 2D and 3D graphics and internet communities based around her pastimes. Eventually, her pastimes led to the first in her Unnaturals of Brisbane series. She is an avid reader and a cat lover.
