Dr. Candicee Childs is a physician and author who is passionate about encouraging others to discover their purpose and pursue their dreams—no matter how big or small. Through her writing, she seeks to uplift, empower, and inspire readers of all ages to walk confidently in who they are becoming.

As an author of children’s books, Dr. Childs combines her love for science, storytelling, and child development to create meaningful, engaging stories that nurture confidence, curiosity, and resilience. While her personal faith shapes her values and worldview, her children’s books are written to be inclusive and relatable to families from all backgrounds. Her goal is simple: to help young readers believe in themselves, dream boldly, and discover the joy and wonder found in books.

Originally from the beautiful city of Savannah, Dr. Childs earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Spanish from Valdosta State University, a Master of Healthcare Administration from Georgia Southern University, and her Doctor of Medicine from Augusta University at the Medical College of Georgia. She is currently training to become a child and adolescent psychiatrist, with a deep commitment to supporting children’s mental, emotional, and overall well-being.
