Patricia Blakely has lived happily in the Uptown area of Minneapolis for over 40 years and can’t believe that she only recently discovered its excellent MetroTransit service to most other parts of the city. A former executive of Minnesota Public Radio, in her retirement years she has developed a special interest in the spirituality of major life transitions and has begun to write about them. Her articles have appeared in Minnesota Monthly, Minnesota Women’s Press, and Presence: An International Journal of Spiritual Direction.
