If you have ever been held captive by the abusive words and actions of someone with whom you were in a relationship, I wrote this for you... and I wrote this for me. With poems by Annie Jean Linn and illustrations by Alli Tuttle, this collection was created with the hope that it would tell abuse victims that they're not alone, that others can relate, and that there is always hope.

Annie Jean Linn is a singer/songwriter from New Mexico. Her love for poetry and music inspired her to start writing folk songs as a teenager. She began performing at 16, and at 23 took time off to start a family with her husband. Now 28, she is once again exploring the world of poetry and music, and hopes to inspire and encourage people through her work.
