About the author
Daniel Zanchetti, M.D. was born and raised in Connecticut and graduated medical school from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center where he received the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Excellence in Teaching award and was a Chief Resident. He then completed a combined fellowship in Gastroenterology and Geriatrics at Boston Medical Center, and is also a Harvard Macy Scholar. He lives with his wife and three children in Connecticut and is currently a practicing Gastroenterologist. He actively teaches medical students and residents at both Yale and Quinnipiac Medical School.
