Cancer Sucks

Sometimes a chance event can change the course of our lives forever. If you believe in destiny it may not just be a chance event, in fact it may be something that has brought us to a path in life that was meant to be. In our journey with childhood cancer you will see just that and maybe if you are going through a similar situation you will see that for yourself and family too.

Sometimes a chance event can change the course of our lives forever. My beautiful 10 year old daughter was diagnosed with Wilms tumor kidney cancer in 2011 and our lives have been turned upside down since that day. By sharing our story my hope is that if you are struggling through a similar situation you will know that you are not alone.

I am a 36 year old single mother of two living in beautiful Sonoma County. Like many others, I have had many hard times in my life. I have had a very abusive childhood and much of my adulthood has been the same. The only thing that keeps me happy and smiling are my two wonderful children that are 10 and 14. I would not be the woman and mother I am without them.
