Sharon Swain wears many hats—as a Special Education teacher in Niskayuna, as a mother and wife and, as the author and illustrator of the “Camp Kids” series. Swain, was inspired to create the book series by “the fun and adventure” she experienced while spending her childhood summers at her parent’s camp on Pleasant Lake in Brantingham, NY.
