Overview
Caddis Fly is a hold-on-to-your seat, whirlwind novel that takes the readers through the beautiful landscape of central Montana, on the permit-only Smith River through the eyes of a fly-fishing freighter, Max Barbiere.
Description
Twenty-six-year-old Max Barbiere has built his life working as a freighter for a busy fly-fishing guide. He believes he has escaped his past, until his past finds him. This novel takes us through the first of Max's critical decisions in deciding who he is as a person and what lengths he is willing to take to preserve the life he now calls his own.
About the author
Stacy Collette is an avid writer and outdoor enthusiast. She was born in Montana and grew up in Northern Idaho. Her summers are spent with wet feet; hiking through high mountain passes and rivers, fishing, or pushing her kayak past eddies and whitewater. Stacy is published in the World Poetry Anthology, 1987, and has authored several other works, and was a founding editor of the Literary Magazine, Montana Mouthful. This year, she brings us her breakout novel, Caddis Fly.
