Bud is a Beagle. He likes to dig and sniff out neat things he finds. Roo is a Border Collie. She is smart and sassy. She is always up for an adventure. Bud & Roo are different, yet they have a lot in common. They like to explore and find out where things come from. Bud & Roo's Spectacular Adventures illustrations are inspired by an old Roman Ruins in the English Countryside. Whereas the idea of coming up with a children's adventure series was inspired by our own children. Come join the adventure! Let's see what Bud & Roo dig up next time.

Author Jessica Valentine, teacher and psychologist wanted to create a children's book that kids actually enjoy reading. I wanted to teach kids how to think for themselves and be able to figure things out on their own. This book was inspired by Rosie's Walk by Pat Hutchins. It was my favourite book, my daughter's favourite book and I wanted to replicate something similar.
