Overview
In this, his long-awaited collection of worldly wisdom, Dr. Larry Harte dispenses the type of good-natured advice that makes "Brooklyn-ese Proverbs & Cartoons" a worthy successor to Poor Richard's Almanack. Culled from a lifetime spent in Brooklyn — the heart of American culture — Dr. Harte's aphorisms and pungent proverbs sparkle with wit and warmth, yet his counsel is never heavy handed or "preachy." Both inspiration and aspirational, this collection serves to articulate the hopes and dreams of the common man, all served with a delicious Brooklyn-ese flavor.
