Broken Trust

Ben is an architect who likes straight lines and meticulous details. Sam is an artist who is absent-minded and usually covered in paint splatters. When they meet they have to let go of what they have always known. It would take a pretty strong love for them to make sense of their lives together. Ben's sister, Ali, wants nothing more than for these two to figure out how to be a couple in their very different worlds.

What would you do if you had to choose between your lifelong goal and true love? Benjamin Westcott has worked hard to establish himself as an architect. He is working toward his goal of opening a home for runaways. The one thing standing in his way is money and his grandfather's trust fund would solve that problem immediately. Sam Turner is an artist who has sacrificed her whole life for her art. She knows the importance of love and loss and the beauty of living a life filled with passion and purpose. She values the friendship she has found with Ali, Ben's sister, and she wants to believe in the love she has found with Ben. Will Ben take the trust fund for his home for runaways, or will true love be the path he chooses?

Michelle Sodaro has been writing and teaching for the past 18 years. She has lived in the greater Kansas City area for most of her life (though she is still a Chicago fan at heart). Through her poetry and her novels, she hopes to reach people’s lives and inspire future writers any chance she gets. She loves to write stories that she would want to read with characters that she would like to meet. She has published two novels so far, Whatever you Make of It, Arianna’s Honor, Arianna’s Destiny, and has plans to publish many more novels and nonfiction projects for many years to come.
