Nicky and Christy Quinn inherit their grandparents tourist ranch after an untimely death. Armed with an envelope of riddles, they end up with more than they bargained for when the hunt for their family treasure sends them on an unexpected adventure.

But when the family attorney shows up with an envelope full of riddles and the rights to whatever they discover, the girls are thrown into a life changing adventure. They become dependent on the new ranch manager when a young girl is kidnapped and strange things start happening around the ranch. Will they be able to unravel the mystery of who’s behind all the chaos before someone gets killed? Is there a deeper meaning to the clues in Grandma’s envelope?

I am a 30 something-year-old mother of two and a wife of 13 years to a perfectly wonderful husband. I live in Texas and have lived here all of my life. I started this writing project as a challenge from the high school students of Montgomery Christian Academy, where I volunteer, when helping them write creative entries for their English assignments.
