Overview
In today's society most people are comfortable chasing after meaningless things. We long for success, such as better jobs, more money, big houses and fancy cars. At any rate, life fluctuates, obstacles come and go and at no point does life stop. In fact, life moves very swiftly and there is plenty of opportunities to find out what's the next best thing. Oddly so, and little do we know; life successes and gains will never be fulfilled by the things of this world. We will never be satisfied. So, we keep searching and try to find the answers of the various voids' life can bring. However, that void that we are faced with was placed in us in the beginning of time. Genesis 1:26, declares and God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness". "He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [ a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God] - yet man cannot find out ( comprehend, grasp) what God has done(His overall plan) from the beginning to the end (Ecclesiastes 3:11 AMPC)" but if we read this in context, the conclusion of this text would suggest that we are always going to desire more and more. Unfortunately, the fulfillment of more is not of things of the world or upon the earth but of eternal life in God and with God. This book Bridging the Gap has been designed and established to help all that will seek God, to return to God, our first love. Matthew 6:33 tells us, to seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things will be added unto you. Therefore, we must make every effort to close the gap of our relationship with God by searching out the scriptures, establishing an intimate relationship with God, this increases our faith, as we worship Him in spirit and truth which makes us complete in Him.
