Overview
Overwhelmed by the collective anxiety permeating modern society, people have lost their inborn connection to Spirit. It’s all according to plan for the otherworldly forces systematically intensifying negativity for their own gain. And thanks to the unwitting assistance of the media, their domination is imminent. Yet an unwavering group of celestial supporters will not give up. They send a messenger back to earth, an earnest family man who died from a heart attack several years prior. His mission: to rekindle people’s divine connection, whatever their faith. And so a duel for the soul of humanity plays out across the worldwide web and news networks. People must recognize Truth before earth’s exploiters prevail. If not, the flame of individual awareness will be extinguished.
Description
Based upon the true story of McKay’s own journey following her husband's sudden death, her authentic voice weaves a tale that is part spiritual thriller, part handbook for living with connection and contentment. Walk with this endearing family through bottomless grief and into hopeful acceptance, as this battle for love over fear softens your own barriers. Long after the last page is turned, this rare read will inspire you to start living from your sweet spot. Remember. Pause. Breathe.
About the author
While acting as the Japanese interpreter for a joint-venture fishing enterprise in Alaska, Kitty McKay found herself dangerously adrift in a rubber raft, drenched by a wind-whipped Bering Sea while being circled by a pod of Orca on the hunt. Only months later, she was bathing in a warm ocean and cooking over campfires, living in a tent on a remote beach on the island of Lanai, being initiated in ancient bodywork techniques by a Hawaiian Kahuna. Years later, she served in Hawaii and Tahoe as right hand for a Chinese Grandmaster of Qi Gong, even driving the “getaway” car—making sure not to look in the rearview mirror—after “ghost-busting” sessions that cleared people’s haunted homes. These adventures (and more) stretched Kitty’s worldview. Yet the sudden death of her beloved life mate, when she was forty-one and their two kids were just seven years and eighteen months old, deepened her beyond. While breathing through each raw minute in a world without him, she discovered the place where love speaks from the stillness between. And now through her writing and speaking, you can better hear your call. Remember. Pause. Breathe.
