About The Author

Teretha Jones is a first time children's book author. She has been blessed to partner with young Jessica Cisse, who did the wonderful illustrations. Ms. Jones is a nurse, public health advocate, community activist, artist, musician, entrepreneur and history re-enactor. She is also the proud mother of a spectacular young man who grew up to be an extraordinary ballet dancer. Her son Malcolm Jones is the inspiration for this wonderful little story. It is his story!
