About the author

Lindsey Richelle grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida, and has been journaling since she can remember. After graduating from Florida State University with a degree in Environmental Studies, she was a marine biologist and, while sharing her latest dating story while diving for scallops, decided that one day, she would write a book composed of the hilarity that was her dating life. Over the next decade, Lindsey continued to journal these tales and found that throughout her dating journey, the real love she was in search of was with herself. Lindsey has always been writing but changed her career path many times. She has lived in Washington, DC as a fundraiser, in Chicago, IL as an independent fundraising consultant, and now, in Atlanta, GA as a soon-to-be best-selling author. When she is not changing her mind about her career, you can find her traveling around the world, in a café or wine bar, writing or performing stand-up comedy. Or you may even find her on her next date. Connect with Lindsey on Instagram @tallgirladventures

Description

You've been on one before…you know, the hilarious date that leaves you thinking, "What in the world just happened?" You go home, call your girlfriends, and dissect the date from start to finish while you sip on a glass of red wine, or chug the bottle depending on how fed up you are with dating. In her debut book, Boys, Booze and Balderdash, Lindsey recalls the tales of her dating stories and lessons learned that span over a decade. From a young age, Lindsey has always been on a journey to find love. Lindsey experienced it all—the cringey guy drinking blueberry mojitos whispering in her ear at a crowded bar, the sexy German who didn't speak English and lived with his mom, to the college football player that thought a red crotchless bodysuit was an appropriate gift. Her tales will make you laugh and remind you of your own horror dating stories and the lessons you learned along the way. Through her journey, she realizes that what she was looking for was within herself. This book will not only make you laugh but also show you that every rejection is just redirection.
