The views stated which are not identified as Bible verses are only his opinions as he understands the Holy Scriptures. They are offered in an effort to spark the interest of readers to encourage them to seek the truth for themselves.
About the author
Former Alabama State Senator Bobby Denton was born on August 13, 1938 in a rural area of Northwestern Alabama called Freedom hills. He and his wife Barbara were married sixty years. Barbara passed away December 23, 2017. They had three children, Julie, Mike, and Roger. Mike passed away July 2, 2002. They have three grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Bobby had a successful career in music at an early age and appeared on the Dick Clark Show on ABC national television in 1958. He has recorded eighty-eight songs and written four books. He was inducted into the Alabama Music Hall of Fame in 2010. He retired from the Alabama Senate in 2010 after serving eight consecutive terms, for a total of thirty-two years. Bobby is a member of the Church of Christ, a graduate of Cherokee Vocational High School, and The University of Alabama.
