About The Author

Valerie Kershaw was born in Lancashire and now lives in Suffolk with her husband. They have three grown up children. She has been a newspaper and radio journalist. She’s published nine novels. Her third The Bank Manger’s Wife was adapted for television, her fourth Rockabye won the £5,000 Lichfield Prize.
