Description
Robert Warren, also known as Bob, is the son of wealthy and doting parents who gave their child everything except for brains. When it finally comes time for their son to enter college, they ensure him admission to one of the finest schools in the country on an athletic scholarship. Once there, his good looks and idiotic charm lead him to discover the school's biggest secret—a time machine. The normally furtive research team decides that the best way to keep him quiet and keep the project under wraps is to make Bob their test subject. However, outside influences, such as Dean Dr. Constance Sarene, have more sinister ideas for the time machine. With the help of her niece, Christine Jennings, a member of the research team, the Dean sees the project as a tool to remold the world in her own twisted image. Dr. Sarene plans to use her knowledge to solve history's biggest mysteries, dig up long-lost artifacts, and enhance her prestige in powerful circles—leading to her ruling the world.
Throughout the course of Bob's travels through time, Dr. Sarene's plans are revealed when he finds Christine at various points throughout history. But when he is finally ready to confront the Dean and stop her dominating plans, he becomes stuck in 1880s London and finds himself the pawn of the infamous Jack the Ripper. Worried that a moron might wreck all of history, the research team works feverishly to rescue him before time is altered, while also fighting off Dr. Sarene's attempts to take control of the time machine.
