Overview
This is the story of 3 people who have been friends from childhood but jealousy creeps into the equation as they become adults both in their love lives and their businesses. The one female in the trio is the cause of the rifts in the friendship and one of the the men eventually becomes so obsessed with beating his rival that he turns to killing as his way of solving his problem. This is the way he sees he can combat his rival in business and that is by producing red daffodil flowers. He starts murdering innocent people in order to obtain the fresh blood he requires to feed his plants and this then becomes his normal way of life.
Description
This is the story of lives that become ruined by jealousy and greed. Three children who grew up together as best friends change as they become adults and the eternal triangle becomes an obsessive problem when both the males fall for the same girl. The girl chooses one of them and the other man tries to get on with his life but keeps meeting obstacles put in his way by the other man. Eventually the competition between the two men comes to a head when one of them discovers a way of creating true red daffodil flowers and succeeds in becoming very wealthy by his creation. However to be able to create this true red daffodil he needs human blood. The only way he could procure this blood was through murder. He becomes addicted to gruesome murders until he eventually gets caught and kills himself rather than face the truth and tell his lady friend what he had been up to. The story has moments of sheer delight but then it is fraught with moments of sheer horror.
About the author
I lived for many years in East Africa and started writing for pleasure initially by writing little stories for my two young daughters to entertain them while I was at work. There wasn't such a thing as T.V. there in those days so I had to improvise by writing them stories for them to read.
