Black Women Relationship Realities

My name is Jessica Pierre. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I am a descendant of Haitian parents. My parents, especially my mom, taught me a lot about life and relationships; however, as I journey through life, my experiences formed most of my beliefs. I grew up like any typical American girl, who went to school and did household chores. I am the oldest of three brothers, so I gained some early responsibilities, by taking care of my younger brothers. During my teen to young adult life, my mother encouraged me to model and get into the entertainment industry. I love the idea of being viewed by millions of people, whether on the cover of a magazine or in a movie. I am also an avid music lover. I am currently practicing voice lessons; maybe one day I will have my own album, but for now, you will get to know me through this awesome book.
