Overview
Black 100 Feet is the story of God's calling on a gang leader and about a Christian teen that lost his way. Sometimes we feel that change is not possible but with God all things are possible. The main character "Black", who got his name from his explosive temper, is faced with a decision to change or remain the same. In a related but different story we have a Christian teen that felt that God turned His back on him. What did these 2 teens do?
Description
In this novel you'll find a Love story, A Christian that lost his way, Drugs, Gangs, a little violence and God's calling on a young man. If you know someone/young person that is going through tough times and trying to make a change, this book is for them. Need a good, clean, entertaining, uplifting novel (I know those are hard to find), then this is for you. We explore the life of our main character “Black,” that ran the streets hard and came to a point in his life where he needed to make some changes. He was infected with a disease called "Street life". It’s a disease that many have had, or knew someone who has or had it. Most people look at what they see and do not bother to explore where the behavior came from. Like most situations, some treat the behavior and not the source of the behavior. “Black” was deep into the street life and had a strong reputation that followed him. Black and his crew knew no fear. They lived to fight! Despite his rep, Black couldn't run from the calling of God. He had to change and he knew it. His change affected many lives. Just like Black, when we make changes in our lives it’s hard for those close to us to accept those changes. That's why it’s always important that we remember (in the end), no one else will be held accountable for our choices but us. Black accepted God into his heart. He decided to change despite what the people around him and his close friends were doing. God knows change is tough, that's why He always sends help for us. The help can come in the form of an adult or young child. Regardless of how the help comes, we can rest assure that we'll never be alone when we turn our eyes to God. This novel is family friendly and can be used as a tool to prompt family discussions. The layout of this novel is Play Style Format and some content is written in slang. This is to help the younger crowd relate more to the novel. However, people of all ages will be able to understand and enjoy this great piece like many have.
