Beyond The Search features photos of K9s from five search and rescue groups located in various regions of the country. These dogs work as dedicated and integral members of volunteer search and rescue teams, and are arguably the most valued and impactful members of their respective groups. Over the course of your travels you may not often see or come across these four-legged heroes, but should you lose your way, they just may be there to find you.

Proceeds from the sale of each photo book are used to support the health and wellness of our veterans, first responders, and working K9s.

To raise awareness and support for veterans, first responders and working K9s, we provide presentations and information throughout the country to veterans, first responders, and the public regarding the emotional impact a K9 can have on someone's life.

Having visited and photographed working dog teams in over forty states and overseas, we meet with veterans and first responders to explain how exposure to life saving traumatic events and the resulting post traumatic stress, impacts their long-term mental health and physical well-being. Information is also provided to promote the continued health and well-being of our K9 partners.

Proceeds from each book sold are used to offset costs associated with human animal bond research, as well as mental health and wellness education provided to first responders throughout the country. All net proceeds are used to support the well-being of working K9s.

Jim Corbett is a nationally recognized photographer, who has captured and documented the stories of working dogs and first responders throughout the U.S. as well as overseas. He currently serves as a first responder and behaviorist in the state of Virginia. Through his documentary work, Jim continues to address the importance of mental health awareness among veterans and first responders, as well as promoting the health and wellness of working dogs.
