Beyond the Fall

Late 1890s—Berlin, Maryland—on the shores of the Atlantic—a sandstone ridge—a questionable forest—and a home concealing a family secret in its depths was never given much thought, until one, or more, of the Hawkes wanted something they had no right to wish for. Grim consequences resulting from a burgeoning secret hastens the family to rediscover their true selves. Amidst the turmoil, an out-of-the-blue stranger, with Clara in his sights, turns out to be no stranger at all when he adds an element of heat (and deception) to her life at just the right time. Having kept his distance, until now, a personal struggle to confront inner demons has been ignited, tempting Clara to question who she's desired all along. A surprising tug-of-war between the known and the unknown ensues, leading to either heartbreak, or the greatest love story of all. Glass orbs, magical spheres, falcons, ballroom dancing, gemstones, and a quest to untangle a web of uncertainties are bound to transfer you into another world. Or should I say "worlds"?
