Beyond Double Mountain

Beyond Double Mountain follows the trail of a fugitive and the Texas rangers who pursue him. Set on the Texas frontier during the mid-1870's, the story includes wild cow towns, buffalo hunts, attacks by Indians, gunfights, romance, and an underlying moral dilemma.

But is the man they pursue who they think he is? Set on the Texas frontier during the mid 1870's, Loy's novel weaves together diverse and colorful characters against the backdrop of wild boom towns, cattle drives, canyon hideaways, flooded rivers, and Indian attacks, accented with a developing moral dilemma.

Leon Loy roams the roads less traveled to find the historical settings for his stories. He is a retired minister and business owner who now resides in a small town in Mississippi.
