J.M. Konior attended school in New York City, and after graduating from high school entered the business world. She worked as a secretary in the fields of insurance, construction, manufacturing and law before marrying and moving to upstate New York. She took time off to raise her daughter, but eventually returned to school and obtained her Masters in Education. She taught full-time for 14 years, and is a certified English and Elementary teacher. She also worked as an editor and a tutor before adding novelist to her resume. Beware the Lovely Lady is her first book.
