About the author
Employees are trained while visionary leaders are
born, refined only by opportunity and challenge. Wanda
Hall Carter is one of the nation’s emerging practical
Christian Leaders. Academically, Wanda is a graduate of
East Carolina University with a degree in Sociology and a
minor in Interpreting for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. She
has also completed a Master of Science in Organizational
Development from Abilene Christian University. She
also obtained a certificate in Mediation and Negotiation
from Abilene. She is a Certified Workforce Development
Professional and is currently working in the human resource
field.
Wanda uses all of her knowledge, skills, gifts and
abilities to help bring light to negative issues that often
impact the lives of others. She is the voice of those that
have no voice and often are not strengthened to speak and
continues to be a phenomenal testimony of the dynamic,
redeeming work of Jesus Christ. Nothing renders her prouder
than the favor that God has extended her to positively impact
family relationships by providing counseling and spiritual
direction to youth and women. She discovered the freedom
to live victoriously by applying Christian values to her life
and in turn desires to help others do the same.
Wanda serves in ministry alongside her dad and
mom in North Carolina. She currently resides in the DC
Metropolitan area with her husband Ron, a 23-year veteran
of the United States Army, friend and prayer partner for life.
