About the author
Employees are trained while visionary leaders are born, refined only by opportunity and challenge. Wanda Hall Carter is one of the nation’s emerging practical Christian Leaders. Academically, Wanda is a graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Interpreting for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. She has also completed a Master of Science in Organizational Development from Abilene Christian University. She also obtained a certificate in Mediation and Negotiation from Abilene. She is a Certified Workforce Development Professional and is currently working in the human resource field. Wanda uses all of her knowledge, skills, gifts and abilities to help bring light to negative issues that often impact the lives of others. She is the voice of those that have no voice and often are not strengthened to speak and continues to be a phenomenal testimony of the dynamic, redeeming work of Jesus Christ. Nothing renders her prouder than the favor that God has extended her to positively impact family relationships by providing counseling and spiritual direction to youth and women. She discovered the freedom to live victoriously by applying Christian values to her life and in turn desires to help others do the same. Wanda serves in ministry alongside her dad and mom in North Carolina. She currently resides in the DC Metropolitan area with her husband Ron, a 23-year veteran of the United States Army, friend and prayer partner for life.
