About the author

Hello, I'm Constance Latimore Dawkins. Writing a children's book was not part of my vision. It was an assignment from God, and I am the vessel. As a small town girl from Soperton, GA, it never occurred to me that I could be an author. But, here we are. After graduating Treutlen High School, I chose to further my education at Georgia Southern University with a B.S. in Justice Studies. After 4 years as a counselor in correctional institutions, I began my 25+ years career in insurance. My husband, James and I have a blended family: 4 adult children—James III (Cherice), Raquel (Deontre'), Jordan, Lauren; and 3 grandchildren—Nia, EJ (promoted to angel) and Jason. I am passionate about family, philanthropy, criminal justice reform and a host of other social issues. I love music and international travel. My favorite destination is the East African country of Tanzania. I currently reside in Orange Park, FL.

Timely and Powerful God’s perfect timing! The release date and powerful message were both in perfect timing. The intended message was in direct alignment with a personal situation of someone close to me was going through at this exact time. So, I gifted this book to hopefully aid an aching heart. My teen daughter and I love the illustrations and how the colors jump off the page at you. A great message for all ages that will never get old or watered down. Read more

Book blessings from Grandma I purchased a couple copies for my grandchildren, so my children can read them to their children. My grandson is 2 years old and loves the illustration and likes to carry it in his backpack, my daughter says “ he makes me read it wherever they go” I love that.
