The thing is what is they are discovered for what they are or what if they come away with more questions? Lucas is drawn to Alex and will stop at nothing to get her by his side. Helping her is second nature to him. His brother Eric backs him completely but his youngest brother Mason has plans of his own when it comes to Alex. She is a powerful species and not yet claimed by anyone. Even if Fate has Lucas naturally in mind for her Mason and others like him have other ideas. To mate with a powerful species is to have and increase ones own power. Who would have the strength to turn that down?

Alex notices something very suspicious going on with Kyros at Hope Asylum. She is eager to find answers, but Alex's magic abilities put her at risk. While Alex is trying to cultivate her powers, Kyros has an evil plan to use her powers for his own agenda. Alex must mature quickly and overcome all the ill-intentions that stand in her way. With the help of her friends, Tori and Chloe, and her potential love interest, Lucas, she embarks on a journey to find the answers she has been searching for.

Bree Knight has a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from North Dakota State University with an emphasis in Stained Glass art. Growing up in a family of creatives, Bree grew a love for fantasy fiction books. She spent a lot of her early years spending time with her siblings in the library. Bree used the pandemic as an opportunity to reconnect with her love of fantasy fiction by writing a novel of her own.
