About The Author

Michelle was born in Sacramento, California, into a vibrant family with four sisters—Connie, Sharon, Coleen, and Denise—and a younger brother named Aaron. As the middle daughter, she often navigated the challenges and joys of a bustling household, where the strong faith instilled by her parents became a fundamental pillar of her life. Her father, a dedicated professional engineer, and her mother, who later carved a path in church education, fostered an environment rich in values and support, which proved invaluable as Michelle faced various health challenges throughout her life.

With a deep love for family, Michelle married young and welcomed her first child into the world nearly four years later. However, after her third child, a son, was born, she navigated the complexities of single motherhood. Two years later, she met and married John, seamlessly blending their families of five children, aged 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. Together, they have built a loving home filled with laughter and resilience, celebrating their 36th wedding anniversary last year—a testament to their enduring commitment and the strength of their united family that has grown with the addition of 13 grandchildren.

Michelle and John are active in their Christian Faith and serve their community through Carmichael HART (Homeless Assistance Resource Team).

Michelle continues to enjoy learning. She has become a Certified Wholistic Health Coach with the accredited Institute of Wholistic Health and now teaches others what she has discovered.
