About the author
Vince Papale was born in Glenolden, Pennsylvania and graduated from Interboro High School and St. Joseph’s University. In 1976, at the age of 30 with no college football experience, he tried out for the Philadelphia Eagles and shockingly, made the team and was later named special teams captain.
