About The Author


Nelda Stidham-Woodruff was born in New Orleans in the 1950s into a military family. For the first thirteen years of her life, she lived all over the United States and even spent a few years in Japan and the Philippines as well. While Nelda has had many jobs throughout her life, her absolute favorite remains hunting alligators and crawfishing with her mama. Nelda has both a son and daughter, as well as three beautiful grandchildren in her family. She currently lives in the Bayou.
