Dr. John Thinnes has shown a way in Balanced Leadership how the reader can enhance and magnify their behavioral strengths, achieving more challenging and ambitious goals they set their minds to accomplish. John completed his doctoral dissertation, studying leadership in numerous organizations. John spent 15 combined years working at Exxon Mobil and Exelon Corporation in di erent managerial positions. He consulted in his own business, working with management in areas such as leadership, change, innovation, performance, and teamwork in a variety of companies and industries around the world for over 20 years. Formerly the director and professor of the Organizational Leadership and Change Graduate program for twenty-five years, at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. John and his wife, Kathleen, have been married for over 50 years and raised four children. He attributes his marriage longevity to learning how to live with someone who is the complete opposite of himself. John also enhanced his collaboration skills by serving two four-year terms as an elected Township Commissioner.
