Description

The Bible story from Numbers 22 talks about a seer or prophet from Beor, named Balaam, in the time when Moses and the people of God were led by God through the wilderness. King Balak, king of Moab, did not want the multitudes of God's people in his land. He sent for Balaam to come to his land and curse God's people and offered him money to do it. Balaam tried but God only spoke blessings through Balaam. During the trip, an Angel of the LORD prevents the donkey from carrying Balaam forward. Balaam hits his donkey with a staff and the donkey speaks to him. The donkey tries to explain to Balaam that there is an angel preventing him from going forward. Balaam sought to enrich himself rather than obey the will of God. The purpose of this book is for parents or grandparents to bond with their child or grandchild as they read the book to them. It's also an educational tool to teach your child a Biblical world view and Bible history.
