About the author

As an artist, the blessings produced through painting are reflections of the journey.
Born and raised in South Florida, provided an early foundation of wildlife and tropical flavor that forever set the stage for a positive demeanor.

North Carolina became my home after sailing the high seas with the US Navy, and welcomed me into a new backdrop, as a Firefighter for the Town of Cary. As time goes by, I am grateful for the many changes encouraging me to discover exciting journeys, and how each experience guides my artistic endeavors. 
Needless to say, my beautiful wife is happy I’ve settled down to a safer calling. Artist!

Rewarded by wonderful enthusiasts of art, I enjoy painting commissions of animals and scenery. I was honored to be the President of the Fine Arts League of Cary, which provided many opportunities for community fellowship and future development. 

To say I’m excited about this project, would be an understatement. Producing an art book related to positive connections is a dream come true, and I humbly believe you will be delighted with "Artistic Slant" - Tim Tietgen
