He continues to paint on the kitchen table and has to date had six solo and group shows. He currently freelances with a number of different bands, including retro swing outfit The Swing Kings. He also teaches drums privately, and continues to do some casual teaching in the public school system to supplement the sometimes erratic earnings from music. When he is a millionaire from the sales of this book, he plans to ditch the casual teaching and spend more time painting. He lives in beautiful Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle on the coast of NSW Australia, with his beautiful wife of thirty one years Hilda. They have two wonderful daughters, Rochelle and Allana, and a three year old English Staffie named Tiger Lily.
