Published a book of sunset photos (SUNSETS by Otto Jr. MD) in December 2023.

In early 2022, he began a non-profit foundation, the Stallworth OhYes! Foundation, which, in August 2022, awarded full four-year scholarships to a student at Howard University in Washington, D.C., and to a student at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, his alma maters. Overview

The natural, captivating way in which Dr. Stallworth writes his book, Are You a N****r or a Doctor? A Memoir, beginning in the "Jim Crow" era of Birmingham during the mid-1940s to the 1980s, and his precarious adventures make this memoir an easy read.

His narrative writing style has an appealing conversational tone that draws one in.  Through his vivid and enthralling descriptions, the book brings the past to life. You feel as if it has transported you to the past with him.

His characters, no matter how brief the encounter, come to life on the page. Heartwarming, numbing, entertaining, and informative.

I think everyone can relate to his physical evolution from childhood to adolescents, which Dr. Stallworth describes with humor and self-reflection.  By the end of "Are You", the reader has a measure of the distance traveled over the years. He shares the good, the bad, and the ugly.

You can learn from it, and once you begin to read, it is hard to put down.

Dr. Stallworth was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama during the 1940s, 50s, and early 60s. He crossed the Alabama state line for the first time at 16 to attend Howard University, before receiving a Medical degree from Meharry Medical College.

He completed his medical internship at Case Western Reserve Youngstown Hospital Association, his anesthesiology residency at UCLA-Harbor General Hospital, and received a Masters of Business Administration degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

He has served as Chief of Anesthesia at Hawthorne Community Hospital and Robert F. Kennedy Medical Center in Hawthorne California. In addition, he owned and operated the Otto E. At his talent management agency Oh Yes! Management, he discovered and secured a record deal for Taste of Honey, the first Black artist in the 22-year history of the Grammys to win the award for Best New Artist, for their song "Boogie Oogie Oogie."

His Hollywood Fries Restaurant was started with partners Hollywood Casting Director Reuben Cannon, actor Danny Glover, and Pepsi executive Olden Lee. Dr. Stallworth began a slow retirement in 2016 and pursued his hidden love for writing through a Masters of Fine Arts program at UCLA.

He was unable to complete the program after his first year because of a short-term illness, but in his time there he completed a screenplay, "Murder at BeautyWorld", which is to be the title of his next book.

In 2018, Denise Nicholas, award-winning actress and author of acclaimed book "Freshwater Road," invited him to join her Longwood Writers' Workshop, where his memoir "Are you A N####r or a Doctor" was conceived.
