She had an ache in her heart telling her to leave, but never found the courage to leave the only place she had a leg to stand on in order to be happy. Constantly afraid of what her future held, she does her best to find happiness in the small things. She was trapped in a bad relationship and swallowed by a city that should have been a place to call home. About The Author

Rachel grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago and attended college at Columbia College Chicago, majoring in Creative Writing- Fiction. While studying at Columbia, Rachel spent most of her down time at the Art Institute of Chicago. Most of her writing has come from inspiration she found in the paintings and the people she met along the way. While "Anthology of an Adventurer" is a Non-Fiction piece written comprised of her inner thoughts, Rachel prefers to write mysteries and adventure. As an avid hiker and explorer, many of her other works and short stories take place in the woods.
