ANGELS, An All-Catholic Summary

by John Cannon

Overview
An enthralling summary of the very essence, the very nature of angels, how they differ from mankind, but how we share lives that are related to the Creator in similar ways, and interwoven with each other.
Description
This book summarizes the thoughts of the greatest of the Catholic philosophers on the subject of angels. Although there are 227 references to angels in scripture, very few people know exactly who the angels are, the "essence" of the very nature of an angel. Their perfections are made clear, their power and influence over our lives laid bare, and the result is almost indescribable joy at knowing that they are our loving "big brothers" to whom we can turn in our darkest hours, and who will celebrate with us over every accomplishment!
About the author
Mr. Cannon has a BA degree from the University of Portland, and as a life-long Catholic has minored in Thomistic philosophy, and continued study of St. Thomas (the "angelic doctor" of the Church) as well as other Catholic authors on the subject of the angels. He actually has not "authored" this book, but has compiled the most pertinent facts written by those who have obtained both the "nihil obstat" and the "imprimatur" from Catholic Church officials for their works. Personal observations of Mr. Cannon, made for a clarification for example, are clearly marked as "Publisher's Note" where they appear in the book. It has been observed that this may be the most complete short-form summary of the very essence and nature of the angels, just who they are, and there importance to understanding the dignity of the human race!
