Ancient Africa I thoroughly enjoyed this book by Ms. Tanya Earls. It was a great learning piece. Reading this book gave me even pride in being Black. Growing up, thanks to school books and TV commercials, my only impression of Africa was poor people and poverty. This book is great for the youth because if I had read it in my youth, I would have known that Africa is home to some of the greatest resources, inventors, and innovations. I also loved the activity sheets in the book. The illustrations are wondrous. I will take great pride in cherishing this book forever! Read more
