Ambition

The future is uncertain. For these lives it takes one moment to change it forever. As ambition drives their motivations, circumstances test their will. Survival is their goal and hard decisions will be made. Morals will be tested and each one will have to look within themselves and ask the hard questions of what is the price they are willing to pay for their desires. This is a story set in a future, leaving class systems with great disparity. There is no grey area between classes. You either have, have not, or have it all. Each character tries to find their place in this existence.

Ambition: Catharsis is a story of multiple people who have found their place in different statuses in society. Some have made their way to attain their goals, others are just surviving the world as it is. When opportunities arise, they must decide what they are willing to leave behind, fight against, or accept. Choice is the theme of the book and they have an affect not just on themselves but those that surround them. This is an abridged version written more episodic than overarching. The concise story gets to the heart of the characters and shows what makes them choose. It is intended to make a more in depth version but felt this story was entertaining as is. It is also the beginning of a series that could go on for volumes. Many can relate to the story on a personal level and it shows how people live in society and what they may do in difficult situations. The idea is to have the reader to question themselves, and ask what would they would do in each of the characters situations.
