Overview
A contemporary, sweet romance. . . Summer Madison dreams of working for the prestigious New York Tribune. She put those career plans on hold a year ago to return home to Spring Valley, Wisconsin, to care for her dying mother. Since her mother passed away six months ago, Summer's been anxious to sell the family home. It's the only thing keeping her in Spring Valley. It's the only thing stopping her from getting the one job that will make her feel like a success. But when she runs into Kyle Mills, the former teen heartthrob and her high school sweetheart, old feelings resurface. Still, she's determined not to let anything derail her career plans. Not even Kyle Mills. Kyle Mills returned to Spring Valley last fall to visit his mother and sister, and to pass the time while he anxiously waits for his new action film, Wreckless, to open in the spring. After twelve years, he finally has a chance to revive his Hollywood career. But he also has a secret to keep. And if the truth comes out, it could jeopardize his career comeback. When he sees Summer again for the first in fifteen years, he's desperate to rekindle things with her, but the timing couldn't be worse. If she were anything but a reporter he might chance it, but he can't risk his secret being exposed just as Wreckless is about to open. Yet, he doesn't want to pass up this second chance with Summer, either. He's waited so long for that, too.
