About the author

Carolyn is a global adventurer, traveling to six continents, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and completed two Ironman competitions in addition to over 30+ marathons and triathlons. Through all of that travel, she recognized some of the best adventures are the ones you dream up in your mind with just a few props to get you started. That's how "The Adventuristas" series was born. Today, she and her husband, John, babies and two rescue hounds (Maharaja Snugglebottom Flority, a beagle, and Cooper Cuddlestud Flority, a blue-tick coon) live on the side of a volcano on the island of Luzon in the southwest Pacific. Their home base for more adventures, real and imaginary!
