Like hallucinations, and biases unconsciously programmed by human coders. Examples abound as to AI's sense of superiority over humans. The central question explored in this book centers on just where will people fit in when AI dominates human society? Or will there be a place for humans at all?

Steven Lance writes a satirical tale with AIIIIIIEEEEE! It's A. I. And Bots And Borgs And Droids

In AIIIIIIEEEEE! It's A. I. And Bots And Borgs And Droids, the reader is brought into the world of bots, cyborgs, and humans, each with distinct personalities and roles. From the forlorn PsychBot GCD-evol to the boastful SsageDroids and the existentially weary MedAnGel, the characters bring the speculative world to life. I haven't read anything by this author before, and what a hidden gem. Lance creates a richly detailed future where AI and robots permeate every aspect of life, from therapy bots on trial for liability, to androids replacing politicians, caregivers, and even religious figures. The Satire comes in when Lance inserts the humor, irony, and some exaggerations of real life critiques of AI. I am one who says thank you to the AI I am using, such as the Echo Dot, or even when I am conversing with Gemini, or other AI programs. You never know if what we see in sci fi movies will come true, that eventually they will rule the world. The story also brings in the legal accountability for AI, automation-induced unemployment, the commodification of human traits, and the ethics that involve advanced technology. The writing is clever, original, and often laugh out loud hilarious. Each story brings a uniqueness, but follows the path of being unpredictable, with twists all the way to the end. What incredible worlds built by Steven Lance. Yes, it's the end of the world as we know it, for better or worse, you decide.
