Adventures of Dele and Shita

Adventures of Dele and Shita is a children's book which is the first manuscript in the series. The story is about a young African boy who has a special gift and can talk to animals. He befriends a pet monkey named Shita that his Father gave him as a gift. The Adventures of Dele and Shita was created to shed light on how they help the animals survive in Africa. I have two goals; one is to have my stories start an open dialogue with children who feel shy and awkward and help them build confidence in everything they do, and my second goal is to incorporate stories that will shed light on animals that are on the verge of extinction in Africa.

My name is Bonita Lombard. I am originally from the city of Seattle Washington I graduated from the University of Washington and received my BA in Speech Communications with a minor in English. I am also a certified vegan nutritional coach. I have 3 sons and 5 beautiful grandchildren.
