Description

We are proud to introduce to you now a very special cookbook — which has been a labor of love, heritage, and heart, entitled, — "Adam's Farmhouse Cookbook"; "featuring Blue Ribbon Recipes" This signature book is more than just a compilation of recipes. It's a journey through time and tradition, drawn from the warm, familiar kitchen of Adam Dotson's family farm, located outside the city of Parkersburg, West Virginia. "Adam's Farmhouse Cookbook" features a handpicked assortment of cherished recipes — including over 80 vintage, country-inspired dishes from his grandmother, Mrs. Rosalie Bungard, which is all in the second half of the cookbook, and of which this section is dedicated to her and his grandfather. Many of these are "blue-ribbon recipes", passed down through generations and preserved with care. This book is geared towards the reader with a sense of love for Heritage- Style cooking and the love of country, as well as towards those who love good-hearted story telling about the love of family. These are the meals that Mr. Dotson first learned to make as a little boy, standing beside his grandmother, flour on the counter and stories in the air. It's those very memories that inspired this cookbook — and later, "Adam's Farmhouse Kitchen", a popular YouTube cooking show that is filmed right at the heart of his family farm and home. As a proud graduate of Johnson & Wales University, with an "Associate degree" in Culinary Arts and a "Bachelor of Science" in Food Service Management, Adam has dedicated his career to honoring the traditions he was raised with — while sharing them in new and accessible ways. Inside this cookbook, you'll find not only recipes, but heartfelt stories of his grandparents, glimpses of farm life, and Black & White/Colored photographic memories that help to tell his story. It is Mr. Dotson's belief that the heart of every home should be the kitchen. Through this cookbook — and his YouTube cooking show — he hopes to help others create the kind of forever lasting memories that his grandparents helped to make for him.
